In the sidebar, I want to put mini-profiles of everyone and a particular quote or anecdote which we remember them by. Check out the first one that I made. I hope I'm not the only one who remembers this...hahah!

Textured or not?

I can't decide if it should be textured (as in the current sidebar) for more artistic chuva, or plain like the image above, but with the coronforever.com text on the side. any inputs?

Nawili si bakla

Nawili po ako kakalaro sa Photoshop, kaya I rendered a sidebar image na rin. Sana po ay magustuhan ninyo dahil labor of love yan. Charot lang, I was just playing. I want to put more stuff in the sidebar, for example, our favorite quotable quotes, as in:

love what you did to the site kim! looking at those clocks makes me feel strange but im happy for us all. who wuda thunk? i miss you all immensely. the cold wind and the energy of this place makes me daydream of us all sitting snugly in a cafe laughing our asses off.

Major Dailies

In the links section of this blog, I placed links to the various online versions of major newspapers in our areas. That way, whenever we want to know what's going on on the other side of the world, all we have to do is click on a few links to know that, for example, the New York Yankees SUCK big time. (You know that I really just wanted a good excuse to say that.) :o)

Virtual Gathering

I took advantage of yesterday's solitude to create something I've long wanted to make - the CoronForever Website. It's probably not going to be used for anything more than an area to post silly thoughts and sentiments from my posse back home, but who cares? Maybe we can all pretend that this little space in this virtual world is a bar, a living room or a shore where we all are, laughing and outwitting each other. As opposed to futile attempts to capture a lost past from different parts of the world.

Tonight's project: Clocks from different time zones.

There are three ways to react to the statement above. If you (1) understood every word of it, or (2) did know some words but you don't get what the hell this statement means -- then chances are, you are NOT part of coronforever, and may I ask you why you are here?

If you (3) have a wicked smile on your face, then HELLO MATE! Kumusta?

The most simple, and sometimes most brutal, way I get reminded of all of us is when I am at Walmart and happen to venture into the games section where I find heaps and heaps of what could be cool games BEST PLAYED with people from coronforever. Games like cranium, or TV-trivia, and other stuff I dare not even touch because it pains me to realize that I do not have a group to play this with me. And NOT JUST a group, but a group with just the right kind of mix, and all the right common experiences, to be able to enjoy the wit, the pun, and all the other silly things we do when we play our games.

Sigh.

If you are reading this, and are not part of coronforever, then realize that LIRIPIPE MEANS "Usually accompanied by Lola Asyon" that is, if you are to believe KIA's definition.
