The Return of Balderdash Online
BALDERDASH ONLINE
Rules:
This game will be played entirely on the coronforever.com website, and is open only to the members of Coronforever. The Dasher (myself) will post the word online at the beginning of each game. Each participant will anonymouslyenter their definitions through the comments section. Please write it in the form "A. Definition" or "B. Definition." The game will be closed when the word has obtained at least 5 definitions (including the correct definition), at which point the dasher will comment "END OF GAME" and nobody can post any more definitions. Voting begins when the Dasher posts a new entry called "Votes for '(word)'," and players can enter their votes as comments (e.g. Burn: A). Don't forget to write your name! Voting ends when at least 5 people have voted for the current word, at which point the Dasher will post a comment which says "END OF VOTING." Please note that the Dasher will not have any clue who contributed each definition, so at the end of voting, the Dasher will post an entry called "Aminan for (word)," and the correct definition, and players are going to enter their definitions with their names (e.g. Xty: B. The spoke of a wheel of a barrow). Please note that each round depends on everyone's speedy participation.
The Dasher then posts an updated score list as an entry.
Scoring:
The one who gives a definition similar or equivalent to the actual definition (The Promil Kid) gets 3 points.
The one who votes for the correct definition gets 2 points.
Each player gets points equivalent to the number of people who voted for his/her definition.
The Dasher will not get any points if nobody votes for the correct answer.
However, the Dasher is allowed to participate in the game (i.e. give definitions).
